In a previous post, I showed you how important it is to know why you’re doing what you do.
But how do you figure out that why?
It’s simple. Start by asking why. Then ask it again. And again. And again. Keep asking, keep digging, until you get the bottom of things and uncover the real truth beneath your goals.
If you’re like me, you’ll start with the things you’re supposed to say to seem competent, compassionate, innovative and all those other we know people value.
Then you’ll hit a wall. You have to push through it. You have to get vulnerable. You’ll have to be honest about what you feel and what you want.
Once you know what that is, you’ll get more clarity on your communications, and your website, blog, e-mails and social media will truly sound like you.
